Adolescent Girl Child Rights
This is an ongoing project for the Delhi Commission for Protection of Child Rights titled Life of an Adolescent Girl in Urban Slums of Delhi’. The study will make an analysis on the status of health, education, nutrition and protection of adolescent girls living in the Urban Slums of Delhi. The study is being conducted in 55 slums from 11 districts of Delhi to garner field data. The report will highlight findings from field data both qualitative and quantitative, as well as secondary data findings from reports, studies, statistics, best practices followed and make suitable recommendations.

Status of Child Protection in Uttar Pradesh
iThought participated in a study on the Status of Child Protection in Uttar Pradesh for CHILDLINE India Foundation. This was a part of a National Study in 10 States where quantitative and qualitative data was collected on child protection issues at the district, block and village levels from multiple stakeholders in Uttar Pradesh. IThought played an active role in finalizing the questionnaire and pilot testing of the study at the National Level.

Status of Child Protection in Delhi
Handholding support was provided to the research team of CHILDLINE India Foundation for data collection on child protection issues in NCT of Delhi. We also undertook the training of field researchers and provided guidance to the research team for data collection and compilation throughout the duration of the study.

International Girls Count Initiative Project
Primary Data Collection and analysis in the SPSS was undertaken for The International Development Law Organisation [IDLO] which conducted a comparative study in India, Bangladesh, Ethiopia and Kenya on 7 thematic areas for ensuring protection of girls. In India it was undertaken in 7 States and was anchored by HAQ Centre for Child Rights.
