The Independent Thought National Legal Essay Competition(s) on Child Rights Law, organized annually since 2012 is an effort to highlight the relevance of law in lives of children, more than others. Citizens can play a vital role in diverse ways towards strengthening democratic framework of the Nation, established legal system and rule of law. This is imperative for giving life to hidden spirit of the opening phrase of Indian Constitution “WE, the People of India”. While elections come and go; children issues remain unheard, as they don’t vote. This is a platform for young and promising legal minds to participate in national building process by bringing back the focus on issues of children and their rights.
